Each cat has its own large run with small chair to sit on; there is generous space between each run so that whilst each cat can see its neighbour there can be no direct contact.
Two cats from the same household can be housed together in one chalet but no cat is allowed direct contact with another from a different household. We also offer two 'Family Chalets' which are large enough to comfortably house up to six cats from the same home. These have proved very popular with breeders and people who have a large feline family.
A safety passage runs the entire length of the two buildings and they are importantly locked at all times.
We provide plastic beds which are scrubbed and disenfected between each boarder. Each bed has its own sheepskin type rug made by 'VetBed' which is machine washable and non toxic. Bring your own bed & bedding if you wish.
Each chalet is equipped with a large litter tray, dustpan & brush. To minimize any risk of infection there is no interchange of equipment between chalets.
Should owners prefer to bring their cats own things we are of course agreeable, bring what you think will make your cat feel 'at home' they are after all 'Your cats' and their comfort is our priority.
Owners are asked to fill in a record card which includes cat preferences. Cats are kept to their regular diet. Only the best quality food is provided (we keep a wide variety in stock) and regular daily mealtimes are strictly adhered to. Adult cats are fed twice daily, kittens and elderly cats according to their special requirements.
